Do you need a credit card to purchase things on the kindle fire?

i asked for a kindle fire for my birthday and ill also be receiving amazon gift cards, so will i able to buy games, books, ect with that. or will it go to my parents credit card??? on itunes as long as i have money on my account, they arent billed. is it the same way%26gt; i hope it is. and where can you buy amazon giftcards? best buy? target? help! thanks:)Do you need a credit card to purchase things on the kindle fire?
If you have an amazon giftcard you don't need a credit card. Most places have a giftcard carousel full of different giftcards from different stores, so you'll probably find the right one. i have a kindle and i got an amazon gift card and it works for the account. the amazon gift cards work the way the itunes gift cards work:) you can get them at best buy and probably any electronics store. you would also probably be able to get them at a place like cvs, rite aid, or a grocery store that sells a bunch of gift cards. target and walmart too PROBABLY. i hope this helps:)
