Is it just me or do people on here respond really rude?

I understand everyone has their opinions, and by submitting a question you are also allowing anyone on the web to answer it. In that case, you are available to be "spanked" verbally.

I also understand that everyone is different and sometimes things just come across in unintended ways when others read what you have to say. It's different perspectives, I get that.

But do some of you out there just get kind of tired of people on here who literally have nothing better to do than just comment on people's sincere questions and calls for advice with rude remarks, insinuations, and assumptions of you are outside of the information you provide? I mean, come on. Really? Why do people find enjoyment in that? I don't know how many times I've come to this place to get advice on something, even simple matters, or to get a question of mine solved, and people will comment telling me I'm a "cold, selfish, unworthy mother", or "idiot", even assuming things about me that have abosolutely NOTHING to do with the question I ask. It's getting pretty ridiculous on here and I think Yahoo! needs to be more aware of the "Top Contributors" and other members that think bashing others is answering to someone's need.

Do you all have that problem at times? Doesn't it get old after a while!? It's kind of frustrating, too, because this doesn't allow you to respond back to accusers or argument instigators, unless it's once you've chosen the Best Answer, and even then you're only given 300 characters to use. That's not NEARLY enough to defend yourself. Is it just me or do people on here respond really rude?
It happens all the time with me, I expect it ! Try not and let it bother you, they don't know you, and you don't know them! I wouldn't even bother with wanting to defend yourself. Why waste your time ?
It's sad but it is a fact of life that on all networking sites like this it does happen. People who are as timid as mice in real life can get a kick out of being (or pretending to be ) hard on here. If you met them in the street they would not have anything to say. Do not let them upset you, the majority of us are reasonable friendly people. Ignore the idiots and enjoy the siteIs it just me or do people on here respond really rude?
The internet is for porn... and porn is degrading to women... this teaches men to disrespect people with a female avatar... and hence people are rude to you.

Also, the majority of people don't actually want to answer questions... kind of what happens in certain forums I've visited. They consider questions already asked as lame and insist that people learn how to use "search" rather than make their own topic (necroing is still bad though).

In short, people seem naturally inclined to being rude.
Greetings, I clearly see your point and understand your cry although I am a "Newbie" or "New Kid On The Block". I see and read some ridiculous to outrageous answers to some people's genuine questions/concerns who are here to obtain a reasonable and rational answer/comment. I would remind you to NOT give up and don't let 1 bad apple spoil the bunch instead continue to get rid of the rotten apples by throwing them away or select the "Best Answer" option. P.S. "Great Minds Think Alike but Fools Seldom Differ". Also remember when you come across negativity (-), then counteract it with a positive or a plus (+).Is it just me or do people on here respond really rude?
Unfortunately the anonymity of message boards tends to bring out some less than pleasant people and others who seem to enjoy causing problems rather than providing solutions. It's like in school when the teacher asked , are you helping with the solution or are you part of the problem.Try to ignore them, report them if they break community guidelines or TOS. Fortunately the majority of members are sincere, polite and try to help other members. There are also point gamers who answer just to get 2 points the easy way they should be reported

Yes, it happens all the time. Most of the users here are teenagers and get their kicks from insulting other people. They're just kids trying to have a little fun and be 'shocking' at the same time. You can use the Report Abuse button in the corner of thier answer and report them or you can just ignore the little cretins.

Work place harassment--what can I do?

This guy has pushed me, hit me, threatened to "blow up" my car, verbally harassed EVERY single person there, he's late all the time, which effects everyone, in fact he was 2 1/2 hours late earlier this week. I've tried putting it in writing and giving it to the manager, but nothing was done. He's been fired twice but they let him come back. All the other managers are afraid of him, as he makes it a very hostile environment, but the manager in charge of firing people (or just dealing with it in general) won't do a thing. She ignores it whenever we tell her about him. I don't know what else to do. Actually, we're all at a loss. Tomorrow, he works with me. I've told the managers I'm not going to work in the same area with him, and for the most part, they listen. But whatever he says, goes. When they gave him his job back the second time, they said if he makes any mistake, he'll be fired. He was LATE 2 1/2 hours. He should have been fired then.

I don't know what else to do. It's hell working with this guy.Work place harassment--what can I do?
Lol ok and to answer you question. Move to Las Vegas, you can become a bartender (a cool one) or like a dancer or something. Las Vegas is a BIG party place.Work place harassment--what can I do?
tell your parents about that you are having a hard time at your job and get them to talk to your manager and if that doesn't work then call up the police and tell them about the guy who was harassing you and that you feel threatened by him and that he's physically abused you and if that doesn't work then move to another work placement, hope it helps!!!!Work place harassment--what can I do?
If everyone feels the same as you, go as a group to the manager and everyone say, either he goes or we go.

Should I break up? Lay down an ultimatum?

I'm an ambitious young woman going to college full time and working for a graphics novel company. I am very energetic and outdoorsy, and dating a slightly younger guy. When we first got together, he claimed to love the outdoors, used to work as a switchboard operator for a radio station, loved music, dancing, walks, etc.

We've been together for 2 years now and as it turns out he hates the outdoors and is actually allergic to the sun (His face swells and he gets horrible rashes.)

He got laid off from his job at the radio station a year ago and has only turned in 3 or 4 applications since then. I've had to fight with him horrifically to get him to turn them in in the first place.

He took a loan for college, then dropped out and didn't even tell me, let alone discuss it with me. I simply noticed he was always at home when I came home from school and work. Because of this, he was denied further financial aid toward his education.

We live with horrid room mates and he refuses to move away from them.

I have to fight with him to do the dishes, and then there is still food stuck on them when I get them out of the cupboard later. (Gross.)

His ENTIRE DAY consists of waking up, getting on his computer to play online games, taking various bathroom, shower, and food breaks, and then going to bed at 4 in the morning. These noisy games do not allow me to sleep, as he is shouting into his headset in the same room as me and will not stop no matter what.

We have sex once a month, and haven't kissed more than a peck in over a year.

He threatens to break up with me if I don't dress 'like a woman' and wear makeup.

We never talk. He's always on the computer, and if say, I'm going somewhere with friends for the day, he repeatedly forgets and every time I mention it in conversation he acts shocked and angry that I 'Hadn't brought it up before/had no idea I was going.' Repeatedly. In the same day.

**********************

WHY HAVEN'T I BROKEN UP WITH HIM YET you are probably typing in all caps. Well, here's the thing. He was homeless when I found him because his asshole foster parents threw him into the street with the shirt on his back when he turned 18. He is young and inexperienced at life.

He seemed to be such a hard worker to help me find a place then, so I know he has potential to work and be productive.

If I toss him out now, or simply move away, he will not be able to afford rent on his own and isn't even employed. He will wind up on the street, and it will be my fault.

I feel like leaving him now would put him in danger, and I just feel like it's a very selfish thing to do. I have complete freedom to do whatever I please. He never cheats on me (Too busy with games, haha) or even watches porn! I've installed a key logger on his computer and the worst thing he's looked up is information about 'reasons women lactate' in a perfectly clinical setting. He's usually very honest, and when he lies, it's easy to catch and a very white lie. He is low-maintenance; all I have to do is throw food at him once in a while and put his hair in a ponytail. He is physically attractive and in shape, smart, and charming.

I just don't want to be a mom to him, and I don't want him to drag me down with him as he is literally costing me more money than I am making in rent, since he doesn't want to move. As productive as i am, my savings won't go very far, and then I'LL be homeless.

So what should I do? Give him a time limit, and then move out? Just break it off? I'm tired of being sexually, emotionally, and financially frustrated.Should I break up? Lay down an ultimatum?
Oh my freaking God!

You should be happy he sticks around, with a miserable chick like you, no normal guy would!
Time to brake up.Should I break up? Lay down an ultimatum?
Is his name Ron?
Selfish and ruthless is the norm for women . Kick him out into the frigid winter streets so he can get a taste of what being married and divorced is really like.

It will be a valuable life's lesson for him.Should I break up? Lay down an ultimatum?
Just break it off! He's just bringing you down and leaching off of you. Sounds like you are being a Mom to him. Sounds like more of a mooching roomate than anything else.

DROP HIM!

Not you problem that he has nowhere to go. Maybe that will be his motivation to grow up.

Good luck, you sound like a smart girl. Just let him go and find someone on your level :)
Pity does not equal compatibility. Make plans to break up. Save some money and start tying up the loose ends and then move out. He can answer to the roommates about the rent and other bills and take some responsibility for himself.
Maybe his foster parents didn't actually throw him out of the house with nothing but a shirt on is back. Maybe they went through what you are going through right now. He is a mooch and always will be one so long as you enable him. If it's been a year and he still can't find a job, then something is wrong.

If I were you, I would tell him the relationship is over and he is responsible for supporting himself from now on. Don't give him -any- money in any shape or form (don't let him eat your food, don't drive him places, etc.). You should probably look for another place to live since you don't like his roommates, but tell him that he needs to start looking for a place to live as well. Throw all of his belongings out of the bedroom and put a new lock on the bedroom door so he can't sleep in your bed anymore of use the gamer.

Best of luck!
I think you should give him a time limit, and NOT move out if he meets the deadline. Something like this:

"If you do not have a full time job by Feb. 12, I will move out."

Make sure he understands, and that you are serious, and then say nothing more.

Why do atheists like to use the word "logic" so much, when they never use it?

There is nothing logical about denying possibilities that have not yet been disproven.

There is nothing logical about ASSUMING anything in general, but especially those things that contemplate the complex unsolved mysteries of our lives.

Thus, there is no logic apparent in the statement, "There is no God."

There is no logic in assuming that science is a flawless, unshakable foundation from which all truth springs, and that the ego-centric atheist scientists who shamelessly promote themselves could never be wrong.

There is nothing logical about allowing SELF-APPOINTED experts to supply you with your ADOPTED belief system, blindly accepting their claims as facts without actually checking them out for yourself.

Atheism? Logical? Open-minded? Free thinkers? Not even close.

If atheists were logical thinkers, they would realize that everything they know could be wrong, and they would admit as much. Instead they are willing slaves to the ego, and naively believe they are superior to those who ACTUALLY retain open-mindedness. True open-mindedness, that is. Not the closed-minded lifestyle of atheism that simply masquerades as open-mindedness...|||Scientific Default|||Most atheists know science is not flawless, but that is presented in order to be tested. This is well known, you must be ignoring it. There is pretty convincing evidence against the need for a creator, when there is no evidence supporting it.

Nothing is absolute, atheists just follow where the facts lie, this is where truth is. Hiding behind a book or "faith" will not change that.

Your logic is flawed, "It has not been dis-proven, therefore it can be." This is not so, there would still be a need for evidence supporting this claim while there is none. Do not say the bible, qu'ran, torah or any other book, they are just books written by men.|||There's no logic in expecting people to disprove a single god when there's millions. There's no open mindedness in believing in one god or a group of when there's plenty to choose from. I can accept the fact I may be wrong, I don't claim superiority and I'm not an egomaniac, can't really say the same for believers though. What with their claims of moral superiority and all..|||I agree: There's nothing logical about denying possibilities that have yet to be disproven.

That's where the agreement ends because I'll accept it when you prove it actually exists.

Honestly, I don't see what the problem is. It keeps us both honest. I don't start believing something just to shut you up, and you can't convince me without evidence for your claim.|||Your first sentence illustrates the flaw in your logic.

If you are trying to imply that, since the existence of God has not been disproved, then your error is not knowing that it is a logically impossibility to prove a negative.

In any case, it is not up to Atheists to disprove the existence of God. Since Theists have postulated that God exists, the burden of proof is on their shoulders.|||I admit there may be some divinity but it is not possible to exist how Christianity says. Anyway the Church is a grand hypocrisy, Christianity is supposed to repeat the teachings of Jesus. Jesus believed in nonviolence, "giving everything to the poor", among others. Yet you see religious wars, the pope wearing gold everything with staffs of diamonds etc. I'm a better Christian than half the people sitting next to you in Church.|||LOL LOL!! AMEN!!!!!

Don't forget evolutionists, homosexuals, mormons, muslims, and last but not least rich greedy powerlusters.

@Jim: To believe you never err is to believe you are not human but are god. They better hope they are right and can save their own souls when they die. Good luck blind sinners, I really hate to see any of you go to hell.|||Because they think that believing in unproven, untested and in some cases even debunked scientific hypotheses makes them superior and without hypocrisy. Yet at the same time they demand evidence for the existence of God.

In most instances it's really a case of low self esteem.|||There is nothing logical about believing in a possibility that has no evidence and is nothing more than a wild guess.

Particularly when said fantasy has been wrong about nearly everything science has learned about the Universe.|||I will look with an open mind at your EVIDENCE for the existence of your alleged Jewish god and the EVIDENCE for the existence of his alleged son. Show me your EVIDENCE. Isn't it logical to base a conclusion of the EVIDENCE?|||bob i love your questions. i see no proof of bigfoot either so therefore i dont believe in him. now bring in a corpse of one or a live specimen and i'm all in. bring me proof of a god i dont care which one and i'd be in. something truly tangible though, none of this holy words our holy books stuff which is all religious folks seem to have to offer.|||Wow. That's a sweeping generalization. It's no better than atheists saying all believers believe in fairytales and have the mind of a two year old. :/ I don't like it. Shows prejudice.|||yeah because the bible is filled with logic right?|||Atheism doesn't necessarily claim 'god does not exist'

Scientists have evidence. We don't just take their word. And they are not self appointed. They go through decades of study ans research.|||BECAUSE YOU CAN'T DISPROVE A NEGATIVE. God damn get it through your head. It's logical to say god doesn't exist BECAUSE THERE'S NO PROOF. There's also no logic in claiming every single god is fake except your own.|||So true open mindedness is ignoring the facts?

interesting...|||Many do, but it just looks like they don't if you spend time in R%26amp;S. Hardly anyone actually uses logic here.|||they have so much faith that their theories are right|||I, personally, and not on the behalf of any other person in the universe, see that yes, there is a possibility of god, because a god can do whatever it wants. But, there is no evidence of a god, so we can't assume there is one, either. And since man invented the concept of god, it is unlikely that there is one. And even if there isn't, this god hasn't affected me, so I can survive without worshiping him. What IS illogical, is listening to a book written many years ago by men and accepting it as true. We don't base our atheism on proof, we base it on lack of proof, on your part.|||There is everything logical about not accepting beliefs that have no evidence. There is every logic to not accepting something until it Can be prove to exits or even possible.

I do not think it possible for harry potter to really exist adn there really be wizards, is that illogical. Sure there may be a very remote tiny minuscule possibility, but its not a possibility that would be considered in reality.

So why should I consider a god to be possible, by what standards or what evidence has been presented to how its possible? I consider it a possibility once someone demonstrates that it is indeed a possibility.

Again could you prove harry potter or star trek being real are not possible would you have to accept that unicorns are a possibility?

We can using science remove somethings from consideration because these things are against all Scientific Evidence we have and go against every logical thinking process we have.

Until evidence is presented that shows supernatural forces or gods are in fact possible, we have a great deal of Evidence to go from to show its not.

WE can make sound judgements and logical decision based on the Information at hand.

Now of course Information and evidence may come in the future, but the time to consider it is when that happens.

Again to you consider fairies to eb possible?|||Logic, ha. Yes, it's true that I'm open for any possibilities. But instead of thinking there's a possibility for everything I think I'll stick to the small list of things that are pretty much logically sound and provable. For example: here's a list of all the things I'd need to keep an open mind about since they have not been totally disproven:

Unicorns

Leprachauns

Flying spaghetti monsters.

Santa

The tooth fairy

The Matrix being real

Unicorns

The Loch Ness Monster

Big Foot aka Sasquatch

A small little yellow Pikachu sitting under my feet that I just can't see.

Martians that live inside Mars so we can't see/find them

This list goes on and on.

Yes, I admit, there's a SLIGHT possibility that all those things are possible.... but I'm not going to just start worshipping them all and going crazy about believing in them just because there's a CHANCE they do exist. Logically that would be insane, I think my head would explode because I'd have to "believe" in upwards of 100,000,000 different things that could be true. From myths to ghosts to the boogie man. Like I said, I'll stick with the logical things that have at least some good evidence to support them.

There, that's your logical argument. If you want to half-believe in all those things I listed, go ahead, but that list is a very very very long list.|||first of all, others are right when they say extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. if the religious are the ones claiming a god exists, then the burden of proof is on them.

atheists and scientists in general do not just assume things. for one, they do have extraordinary evidence for things like evolution. and they do NOT (the majority, myself included) believe their theories are "flawless" or "unshakable". a major ideal of science is being willing to rewrite your entire idea of how the world works and your values if new evidence arises. they WANT as many minds as possible to criticize and edit their work, for the sake of gaining knowledge as a whole.

we do not "blindly" accept anything as fact.

and lastly I am an agnostic atheist who DOES in fact realize everything i believe could be wrong.|||Well, forgive my lack of logic, but let me ASSUME your argument is correct on all points. How much more guilty is the religious side of the same or functionally equivalent violations of logic?

- Accepting possibilities that have not yet been proven.

- Assuming things in general about the complex, unsolved mysteries of life.

- Assuming that faith is a flawless, unshakable foundation from which all truth springs, and that the Bible (or perhaps a religious figure) could never be wrong.

- The following of SELF-APPOINTED experts. ADOPTING a belief system. Blindly accepting claims as facts without checking them out yourself.

If atheists are guilty of being illogical, so are theists. Equivalence of irrationality doesn't prove one side right or one side wrong, but it does suggest that the religious are certainly in no position to criticize the logic of atheists.

Your statement is so ironic that I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that this was intended to be satire.|||Sequoia is a genus of redwood coniferous trees in the Sequoioideae subfamily, of the Cupressaceae family. The only extant species of the genus is the Sequoia sempervirens in the Northern California coastal forests ecoregion of Northern California and Southern Oregon in the United States. The two other genera, Sequoiadendron and Metasequoia, in the subfamily Sequoioideae are closely related to Sequoia. It includes the largest trees in the world.

Several extinct species have been named from fossils, including Sequoia affinis, Sequoia chinensis of China, Sequoia langsdorfii, Sequoia dakotensis of South Dakota (Maastrichtian), and Sequoia magnifica.

[edit] PaleontologyThe genus Sequoia first appears in the fossil record as Sequoia jeholensis, found in Jurassic deposits of South Manchuria (Ahuja and Neale 2002). By the late Cretaceous it was already established in Europe, parts of China, and western North America. Comparisons among fossils and modern organisms suggest that by this period Sequoia had already evolved a greater tracheid diameter that allowed it to reach the great heights characteristic of the modern Sequoia sempervirens (Coast redwood). Sequoia was not dominant in the tropical high northern latitudes, likely due to outcompetition by Metasequoia, a redwood whose deciduous habit gave it a significant adaptive advantage in an environment with 3 months of continuous darkness (Jagels and Equiza 2005). However there still was prolonged range overlap between Sequoia and Metasequoia which could have led to hybridization events that created the modern hexaploid Sequoia sempervirens (Ahuja and Neale 2002; Rogers 2000).|||LOL LOL!! AMEN!!!!!

Don't forget evolutionists, homosexuals, mormons, muslims, and last but not least rich greedy powerlusters.

@Jim: To believe you never err is to believe you are not human but are god. They better hope they are right and can save their own souls when they die. Good luck blind sinners, I really hate to see any of you go to hell.|||See: "Argument from inconsistent revelations."|||Atheists believe that are NEVER wrong about anything, especially about God.|||Dont forget. They also consider theories as proven tests.

Gays to hell?

ok if God loved "everyone" y would gays (SOME ONE AND PART OF EVERYONE) go to hell and i saw on youtube this one guy (who seems like a non lying person) that sayed like in the 1950's bible it said child molesters and stuff go to hell and then later on they changed it to homosexuality soo do these thing add up to say GAYS DONT BURN IN HELLGays to hell?
Hell is not real. it was made up by the church too make people belive in what they said. To make them Fear God. Other then Loveing the God they Prayed too
the reasoning begind this is because sodomy(sexual deviation like anal sex) is a sin, not neccesarily homosexuality. Because these sins are non repentant then the sinner goes to hell. Even in the Divine Comedy, people who commit sodomy and dont repent are denied entrance into paradise and end up in the 8th circle of hell. its called a sin because its considered a violence against nature...yeah

fyi i dont belive this, i more a of a do-good-things-good-things-happen person

EDIT to anyone who doesnt know what the divine comedy is, its an epic about the journey of Dante Allegeri through the nine levels of hell, the levels of purgetory, and the nine spheres of paradise/heaven.Gays to hell?
Ok for the people that say that homosexual wasn't a term until 100 years ago, that may be but there has always been some word for it simply because as long as there has been man there have been gays.

I could give a long drawn out speech about why the bible now says that homosexuals are sinners and how the church wants to control sex and marriage because they are essential human needs but ultimately it is because the translations are so easily manipulated and changed. Even languages that are still spoken today are horribly mistranslated, you could have a word for fire in one language and in the other what you really would be referring to is a burning stick of wood so the meaning is lost.
don't you love how these people that so easily put on that "non lying face" change up the rules in the bible to fit whatever makes them comfortable?? it's quite ridiculous.. gays aren't going to burn in hell.. yes, it is against God's commandments.. due to the fact that we, as human beings, God's creation, are put on this earth to multiply and replenish the earth.. however.. God is also a loving God and a forgiving God.. so i dunno if you understood any of that.. i'm a little tired.. but gays won't burn in hell anywaysGays to hell?
Why would the Vatican invent something like that just because they dislike gays? Get real please ! The fact IS that it is written in the Bible that homosexuality in itself aka waste of semen is a sin . People who are homosexual are in general not religious , they became so because of no religious education when they were young . It is a free world , but I don't want my kids to watch some gay couple licking themselves as they often do in public.
i am a christian but some stuff in the bible i do not agree with...

some is just to make society a better place.

i think the the child molesters/ rapists should burn in hell for eternity

but for other sins.... i think they should be forgiven... some people are taught otherwise.... they have never gotten taught to be a better person, they have never gotten taught right from wrong. and homosexuals.... i certanly dont think they should go to hell!!!!!! and that will not happen! why did jesus die on the cross for our sins.... there are some things you can forgive, and i think that is one of them.... but child molesters

never forgive... children are angels sent from above how would the world be without the children in our lifes
Well, like I told protesters...no where in the bible did it say, Homosexuals were to be burned in hell.

As far as I know, the word 'homosexual' wasn't used until the late 1900's.

So...yeah, don't believe everything you hear. It's just because people want something to complain about.
dont believe in god.

and dont believe anything a boot legged book says.

afterall the real bible is probably in israel. man can easily change things around.

i wonder what company prints bibles..

hmmmm..
I hope to meet plenty of straight bigots of intolerance in hell.
No you won't go to hell. Do you think you're going to hell for being something you have no control over?
They DO NOT burn in hell.It would be a counterdiction on "God's" part.
god loves EVERYONE
I understand. Humans did not begin to understand homosexuality until about 100 years ago. The word "homosexual" itself did not exist in any language until a little more than that.

So how can the bible say something like that?

***EDIT***

Homosexuals have existed since the beginning of time, however they did not have a word for homosexuals! Now, we say homosexual, but in biblical times, homosexuality was not a word. Homosexuals were always described as "men who lie with men" or "women who lie with womern" There was not a specific word that described them.

The bible languages of Hebrew and Greek were very primitive languages and used descriptions in place of many words we use today.

  • My boyfriend thinks i am a lesbian now after having a threesome with him and another girl..i dont agree, do u?

ok my boyfriend and i had been together for three years and things had gone from bad worse....the past 3yrs, he'd been bothering me about doing a threesome and finally since things have been boring in our relationship i found a girl who was down for it, so as i was telling him about her how she had a hell of a body and she was sexy, he got suspicious and started to think that i had been flirting with her previouslly, which i havent. So we went ahead and met up at a hotel with her and all of us had some rum and coke and wine to drink, we started to flirt, i wanted my bf to enjoy it so i was playing my role and kissing on her and she was kissing all over my body...i was acting the whole time bc i am 100% into men, anyways he was getting turned on a lot and he waned more attention but her and i were enjoying more of eachther...next thing u know she went down on me and i was blindfolded, it felt the same as if it was a guy doing it and i had an orgasm, after that my boyfriend had sex with me where she watched...and that was it...so after that night, her and i became facebook friends and now he is jealous and thinks that i am going to see this girl and stuff like that......i keep telling him that i am not a lesbian. What should i do??? i deleted her on facebook now so he doesnt think im still in touch with her, for me, it was a one night thing to tease himMy boyfriend thinks i am a lesbian now after having a threesome with him and another girl..i dont agree, do u?
%26gt;No it doesn't make you a lesbian, but it is a strong indication you are bi-sexual or at least bi-curious or you wouldn't have agreed to do it to begin with. A real lesbian has nothing to do with men sexually and is 100% attracted to women only. There are women who prefer other women but will stick with a man anyway - I think its because the somehow are socially inhibited and have not come out of the closet all the way. Only YOU have the right to put a label on who you are. If he is somehow disturbed by this, maybe he had better re-examine his sexual preferences and let you go. BTW, I don't think there is anything "wrong" with homosexuality as long as all the parties concerned, are adults and agree to that arrangement. Each to his or her own. I am a strict heterosexual, but you see, don't care, half the world is men and so if one doesn't work for me, I will find another one. Believe me, every woman has at least one advantage over men - no matter how ugly, fat, old, you are, if you are a woman, all you have to do is spread your legs and you WILL find some guy who will hang with you. Guys are just naturally SOL when they get old - who wants an old, useless ugly old man for a lover?
If you were not at least bi, then this idea would have repulsed you. You are at least bi if not lesbian.

you could have and would have said no otherwise. My boyfriend thinks i am a lesbian now after having a threesome with him and another girl..i dont agree, do u?
You made out with another female, she went down on you and you both enjoyed each other to the point of an orgasm....

That sounds pretty gay to me...
Sounds like your relationship is over.My boyfriend thinks i am a lesbian now after having a threesome with him and another girl..i dont agree, do u?
Threesomes are no cure for a bad relationship.

    Dump him.
Wow threesome?? great how does it feel.....actually i also wanna try it..
how many times are you going to ask this?
No, enjoying what happened definitely does not make you a Lesbian. Could be that you're bi, but so what? That just 'doubles your pleasure, doubles your fun'. Don't give it another thought and just wait and see what happens. Although, you may want to tell your boyfriend 'Be careful what you wish for; you just may get it'. Men can really dish it out, but we can't take it!

@ Irish Mom: Wow! What a wonderfully forgiving Christian attitude you have: NOT. Whatever happened to 'Judge not lest ye be judged' and 'Let SHE who is without sin cast the first stone'? You sound like a Christian in name only.
Then just explain that to him. HE wanted the threesome; did it want it with another man? No don't think so.

Stupid jealousy for no reason at all. If he didn't want to see you with another girl then he shouldn't have asked.

If you're not attracted to women, you're not a lesbian. Just tell him it was something to make him happy, you love him, and you don't like girls.
He is jealous because she got you off and he feels like it's a competition. He's insecure that he may not be able to send you over the edge and show the same emotional attachment as the girl did.

If he can't believe you when you tell the truth, then he's not enough man for you. That immaturity will haunt you for as long as you're with him.

Here's a good way to prove his attitude. Ask him about ANOTHER 3-way...only THIS time, you want another guy to join in. If he's not willing for tat (even if you're not serious about it) you'd find out that he's all about himself, and not willing to bend for you.
well you should have stayed FB friends with her even if he is being a pain. I do not think you are lisbian, its a one time fling and you know many girls have one time flings in college.

he needs to relax, you and an orgasm and I am sure they are great if he gave you one, if she did, or you went solo.
You're in the wrong category - you should be in Mental Health. Psychiatry IS a cure for sexual dysfunction problems, and your sordid tryst with another woman is definite grounds for psychiatric counseling.

You should be FAR more concerned about what GOD thinks of this repulsive act with another woman, than whether or not your boyfriend thinks you're a lesbian! Sounds like psychiatric AND spiritual counseling are needed - for ALL of you !!!
number one, hes a boyfriend,, number two, he gt what he ask for,, from there, hes a drama queen, its a good thing u found out how weak he is in the mental dept before you married him, trust me i know how trust and respect is funneled into threesomes, i dont think you really wasted your time with him, you learned some things about guys like him, hopefuly yuo gained insight into relationsships and understand what campionship is all about, your current b/f will never ever let this pass. he will blah blah blah and blah forever putting you at the blame, , so get away from there, and go enjoy live the way life is meant to be, good luck,,
This is why threesomes should only happen in rock solid relationships which yours is not.... And now you have to deal with the consequences. Reverse the rolls and put yourself In his shoes. If he was making out with her and all that then became facebook friends, I'm sure you'd feel the same way.

    In-law trying to use me?

so me and my husband (20 %26amp;22 yrs old) got married young obviously about a year ago things have been rocky so we decided to move back in with oir parents to save money and go to marriage counseling, we have a 1 yr old daughter together. We were living in the same apartment complex as my mother in law. Since we are moving back home we decided to break our lease and pay the re laetting fee, so my sister in law suggested she take up our lease. ( she and her husband split so she staying with her mom, my mother in law with her 2 kids) so my hubby thought it was a good idea but in order to do that we would have to keep our name on the lease. I decided to remove my name so that im Not responsible for late fees or evications that may occur (for my protection) so my hubby is keeping his name on the lease since I bee removed from the lease he would have to fill out another application and he didnt qualify for the monthly income. so my in laws called me over asking me is there a problem bc I removed my name and I explained to them Im doing it for my protection and etc. so then I guess they got mad, and starting to be rude to me. did I do wrong, what should I do? My hubby avoids "drama and confusion" so he decided to just leave it alone. Im gonna feel weird going around his family now.. Advice Pleaase!!!In-law trying to use me?
Advice yeah. Stop being a child and grow a pair. You did the right thing. They wanna be funny with you, F%CK EMIn-law trying to use me?
Yea, it does sound like they were trying to use you. They need to understand that what you did was for your safety. It isn't right for your in-laws to try and force you into staying on the lease.In-law trying to use me?
If they can't understand your reasoning behind removing your name from the lease, that's their problem. You didn't do anything wrong. In fact, I think what you did was a good idea. If I was in your position, I would have done the same thing. Let them be mad about it. They'll get over it. You shouldn't feel weird around them, because the "drama and confusion" isn't your fault. They need to act like adults.

    If you are against horseshoes...?

Do you yourself go barefoot despite the fact that life now asks you to do things beyond what the bare bottoms of your feet can handle i.e walk on asphalt, concrete, run prolonged periods for workouts, or live comfortably despite abnormalities in your foot that need extra support because we as humans are spoiled because of modern footware? If you are against horseshoes...?
Humans do develop thick callus comparable to that of the soles and frogs of a horse's hooves when they remain barefoot and conditioned to withstand navigation of all terrains. You will never see a human athlete fitted with a rigid metal shoe which would interfere with normal flexibility, circulation, and shock absorption and significantly damage the feet and tissue and joints above them. The reduced blood and lymph circulation and reduced shock absorption that results from shoeing horses is established scientific fact that is not in dispute. Barefoot hooves maintain far superior flexibility, blood and lymph circulation and shock absorption than shod hooves. If a horse needs hoof protection, a flexible hoof boot is a much better choice than metal shoes to provide for shock absorption.
    ****************************
Add per Happy Equine...................Horse's hooves actually are made out of the exact same tissues that our feet are made from. The horse's outer hoof capsule is the skin that envelops the inner foot. The ground surface of the hoof corresponds to the outer layer of epidermis of human skin, and the walls correspond to our fingernails. The pastern and coffin bones are the pedal bones in a horse. They correspond to the 3 bones of a single finger or toe in human anatomy (proximal, middle, and distal phalanges). The navicular bone corresponds to one of our ankle bones. The tissues are just arranged differently, and the blood supply has more shunts (anatomoses). Otherwise, the similarities outweigh the differences.
***************************************鈥?br>Add 2 per Go Big or Go Home.................Building callus is as important as balanced mechanics of landing.
In horses, we want a heel-first landing. In humans, that is not desired. But realize that the bone of a human heel (calcaneus) is found in the hock of a horse. However, in either species, building callus on the ground surface is essential to optimize function. Note the reference to callus in this excerpt from your link.............

"..... By landing on the middle or front of the foot, barefoot runners have almost no impact collision, much less than most shod runners generate when they heel-strike. Most people today think barefoot running is dangerous and hurts, but actually you can run barefoot on the world's hardest surfaces without the slightest discomfort and pain. All you need is a few calluses to avoid roughing up the skin of the foot. Further, it might be less injurious than the way some people run in shoes......"

The thickness and density of callus built is relative to the amount of weight being borne on each digit, among other factors.
If a horses feet are conditioned they can ride without shoes. The main reason a lot of horses need them is because they had shoes put on immediately at a very early age and their frogs got soft and can no longer handle the conditions they could have handled if their hoof had been allowed to grow and condition normally. Its just like if you walk on gravel barefoot at first obviously it hurts. But if you had to walk on that gravel everyday the skin of your foot would grow callouses and toughen and no longer hurt. Also how do you think horses in the wild walk on tough terrain with no shoes? The horses hoof is naturally made to handle those conditions. So if the horses hooves are properly conditioned it can ride without shoes. If you are against horseshoes...?
I go barefoot frequently and as a child, my feet were so tough that I could walk across asphalt in 100 degree weather like nothing.
    Its all about need.
My mare doesn't NEED shoes. When I got her, her back feet were horribly deformed from having shoes on too long. It has taken over 6 years for them to properly straighten out. She is a wild caught mustang. If I'm going to be riding for a prolonged period on rocky terrain, I put her easyboots on.

In my experience, most horses are better with shoes than without. I believe in shoes as a corrective measure in most cases.
I am not AGAINST shoes, but I find my horse works best without it, and that a good qualified barefoot trimmer does a better job of trimming and balancing for his tendon injury than a farrier does.

I don't understand your crusade against going barefoot. Some horses can do it, some horses can't. If a horse has hard excellent feet and goes barefoot without trouble, I don't see the point of putting shoes on him. If he can't, then of course I'll shoe him.

But posting a "question" on here just to crusade against barefoot horses, that's just unbelievably childish. Grow the heck up. You can't compare human feet to horse hooves, so just GROW UP and start using proper examples. If you are against horseshoes...?
I agree - this new craze of going barefoot is a bit stupid. Horses are individuals and if they have hard feet and are not ridden over rough ground, on asphalt etc, then they are lucky. But to have other individuals going barefoot is asking for trouble and is not fair to the horse. There is an old saying that holds true to this day "No foot, no horse!"

And what I find even more alarming is that you are allowed in the US to trim your own horse's feet. In the UK this is illegal and unsafe. As you say abnormalities need specialist support and correct balancing because it is not just the feet that are affected but the whole leg and skeletal system.
Horses' feet are nothing like a humans. You can't compare them.

Horses walk on a substance that is very much like the material our fingernails are made up of. Their hooves wear down over time. If the horse's hooves wear down faster than they grow, either shoes are necessary or a change of what they are traveling on or how they are traveling is needed.

All horses can survive without shoes, but some need them depending on what demands we humans place on them.
My horses have been barefoot since day one. And none of them have experienced any injuries or lameness. They can handle the work on their hooves and I make sure with my farrier that their hooves are nice and strong every trimming.

Not to mention, horse hooves and human feet are two very different things. Comparing them is beyond ridiculous.

Despite that I wear shoes when I am at work and at school (because it's a must) I am normally barefoot at home or in areas I can be. I have very strong feet when it comes to different areas, whether it be rocky or flat. I climbed on boulders barefoot as a child and I have monkey feet grip. As a volleyball player and tennis player as well as a horse rider, I can handle the bottoms of my feet quite well.

I actually find trainers quite uncomfortable and if I can I wear sandals in public. Yes, footwear has caused humans to have much more sensitive feet, but if you were to take away shoes permanently, eventually humans would get past the blisters and sore feet and their feet would become adjusted to their surroundings.

And as PeaBee stated there are other runners who have competed barefoot. Before trying to be snarky and claiming to know your history....actually KNOW your history.
You obviously haven't seen the damage shoes can do. I have, I'm also generally barefoot (not at work because i can't be). My mare was lame for weeks after having shoes put on incorrectly by an experienced farrier, this never happens bare foot, I don't even get her feet trimmed unless they are flaky, dry or damaged. I ride her on the road to keep her feet down and send pictures monthly to my barefoot farrier so she can decide when she needs to come out and trim them back.(Twice last year!) When I need them I use boots when riding.jumping and they do just fine. YOU don't wear shoes 24/7 yet you think horses SHOULD?
Actually, I think YOU need to brush up on your history.

Shoes in today's sense were not always around. If you take someone that wears shoes and have them run barefoot, yes it will hurt. If one has run barefoot all of his/her life, they will experience no pain whatsoever. No, this is NOT due to calluses forming.

It's due to the way the foot strikes the ground. A person who wears shoes will strike the ground with their heel. A person who does not wear shoes will strike the ground with the ball of their foot or in the upper third portion of the foot. It makes sense if you think about it. All of the weight on the heel can't be very practical, and it's not.

Let me see if I can't find a link or related webpage.

    http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/201鈥?/a>

Anyway, one of my horses is perfectly fine barefoot. The other needs shoe to correct an issue, but in time (hoping for a year) she will no longer need them.
Like others have already said horses and human feet are very different and really can't be compared.

Most of the horses in my area aren't shod, and don't need to be. Unless the horse is being ridden on ground which is too rough etc for them to go barefoot, or they need it for corrective purposes, most horses are fine being without shoes. Even so, it's a personal opinion, and there is nothing wrong with either, as long as what benefits the horse comes first :)
You may be too young for this, but an Olympic runner competed barefoot.

My husband did not have shoes growing up in the coal mine areas of Kentucky and went everywhere barefoot until school.

Amish children in my area are always barefoot. As are many of the women.

The orthopaedic surgeon that operated on my daughter with a congenital club foot TOLD me to leave her barefoot. He empasized that shoes, even good tennis shoes, are not what the foot requires to function properly.

I am barefoot in the house and outside as much as possible unless I am worried about being stung by a bee. So is my mom at age 82.

In my teens, I could do gravel parking lots barefoot and not feel a thing.

In underdeveloped countries, people go barefoot everywhere.

So your analogy to us wearing shoes does not really coincide with horses needing shoes. I am not saying that shoes may never be needed for specific equine activities, I am saying that it does not correspond to humans wearing shoes and your premise.

So my horses in pasture do not have shoes. The sign at the grocery store, however, requires that I do.

Edit: Zola Budd, a female barefoot Olympian, was whom I was thinking may be an older era than you. I actually lived through that history.
Shoes are necessary when the situation calls for it. My horse has strong feet and is not ridden or turned out on ground that would cause excessive wear quickly. If she needed shoes I'd get them, but she doesn't (now maybe when we start showing she may need them, but until then I keep her barefoot).

As for me no I do not go barefoot much anymore outside of the house because my feet have gotten tender from wearing shoes. When I was a kid though there was a summer that I went barefoot where ever I went (still do in the summer, forget it in the winter). If I was going outside to play or going for a bike ride my parents would tell me to put shoes on, so I would, but I would take them off by this brush covered hill at the edge of our neighborhood and go barefoot from there, picking back up my shoes before I went home.
I understand what your saying but feet are fairly different to hooves.

Also some horses are better not having shoes on.

My pony has never had shoes on in the full 18 years of her life and she has never had a single problem with her hoove and she does a fair amount of road work. Shelve actually has better hooves than my mare that has shoes.

Also it's a personal opinion, some people like having horses shod and some don't. Just like everything else.
What people arnt understanding about shoes is a crutial point. Hrses are not built the same. Some have bad hooves. I get my horse shoed. My farrier said he has such weak hooves, he would not of survived out in the wild, or be able to handle regular riding without them. Some horses have strong hooves and are fine without them. Human feet are nothing like horse feet. Come on, people.Duh, putting nails in to our feet would cripple us. But a horse? Not so much. Their hooves are not made out of the same materials as our feet.
If my horse didn't wear cool shoes, then all the other horses in his pasture would laugh at him. They'd call him names.

I, for one, am not about to subject my horse to bullying. His self esteem is far too important to me.
Yes, although my feet now look like Bruce Willis' in the first Die Hard movie.
Do you have nails put into your feet?

    Didn't think so.
Yes, yes I do. Do you?
    To each his own.

Do you believe that everybody should be interested in horses?

I've seen some people say things like, 'Help I want to get my best friend into horses, she needs to know how magical they are!' That's exaggerating a bit but i was wondering if you have ever tried to force someone into horses.

Personally I believe that if someone doesn't like horses then I'm not going to preach how great they are.|||To each his own.

I've met people who haven't really been interested in them, but found they didn't mind them when they came to the barn with me (on their own accord). I've had friend that absolutely hated horses. I've had friends who have sold me their horses.

I'm all about encouraging people who are interested in horses. My friend has a young daughter who has decided that ponies are cooler than princesses; I'm all over it. She's getting a Breyer for her birthday. But, if people don't like horses, that's their thing; they probably enjoy something I don't. Fine by me.|||Oh god, no. Personally, i cant see how so many people are utterly fascinated by horses. There's such a weird connection between some people and horses. It seems like once they start loving horses, they will ALWAYS love them. In my opinion, there are much more wonderful things in the world than horses. For example, electronics. Whether it's video games or dubstep music, they're both infinitely better than horses. It's to the point where i almost NEED electronics to not be bored my whole life. Of course not all would agree with what i said, but that's why it's called opinion.|||Nah, I have horsey friends who are also my teammates on the equestrian team and then the majority of my family is involved with horses, so I don't have the need to try push people into horses.

The majority of my friends are polite when it comes to my involvement with horses, they are utterly clueless when it comes to them. I have one friend who calls my 18hh hanoverian a pony all the time and calls my pony a horse. So, I won't bring up horses unless someone asks and when they do I keep it brief.|||Not at all. Its like religion or any other choice really you can tell them about it but you can't force them into it. Plus everyone is different I have a friend who is obsessed with video games but I don't like video games, he doesn't feel the need to try and force me to love video games. Its just one of those things you either like it or you don't.|||No, I don't believe so. Everyone has their own interests. For example, I'm not interested in Football, and there's nothing wrong with that.

No, I don't force people into horses. I tell them that they should try riding, because it's really fun, but I would never try and force someone into horses.|||I personally think to each his own.

My closest friend just doesn't like horses. Actually, only one of my friends is a "horse person". My closest friend, he just doesn't get along with them. I think he may have had a bad experience with a stubborn horse as a kid. However, I don't push him to like them. He accepts I have horses and love them, as I accept things he does that I don't totally like.|||I wouldn't say "everybody", but I have been able to get my boyfriend into it. Its not like he really had a choice since I am out at the barn almost everyday lol. Lets just say I got him hooked. It truly is amazing how I was able to introduce something like this to him considering he grew up a city boy. I wouldn't try to get some of my friends into it. One of my friends shrieks at the sight of my little dog.|||No, of course not! I support my friends in their hobbies as they watch mine. To each his own. When you force something on someone it takes the enjoyment out of the equation.

There was a girl on here earlier who did not wnt anything to do with horses but her mom was forcing her. All she will learn is to resent horses more.|||I would love it if my best friend was into horses, but she's not and I'm not going to try to force it on her. She does roller derby and personally I despise rollerskating, but I'm glad she has a hobby that she likes and she doesn't try to force me into that either.|||I've pushed one of friends to just try it and he did and now i relented. but I've only done that once. I mean I've just talked about it enough where my friends became interested and came to check it out. I offer it out there like hey you should come meet my horse or come to a show sometime i need a photographer! but yeah. if they want to go awesome if not okay thats cool too|||It'd certainly make my life easier- but add a hell of a lot more competition to be at the top.

Naah. That'd be like saying "everybody should like tennis or lizards". I'm not fond of tennis, but lizards are pretty cool. Hah.

I have tried to convince some of my friends that it isn't something stupid, pointless, ect, ect- you all know the speel. I gave up a few years ago, lost cause. Meh.|||Well I would never discourage someone from sparking an interest in horses. Except for... ya know, people who would be abusive to them, but... I mean I'm also not gonna try to force anyone to be interested in horses either. People like different things, each to their own.|||I have one friend that is a horse person as well.

Honestly, I don't like being around most people who like horses; in my experience, many of them view it as a competition and it can get quite catty.

I love my mare, my boyfriend doesn't trust her. That's perfectly fine with me.|||Oh course not! :)

People can have interests and hobbies of they're own, if you really want a person who you love and care for with you while your riding you should make friends with people that already have that passion!|||No way! People shouldnt have to be forced to like something. And plus, what seems magical to us may be boring for others.|||Only the best people.

How bad was i to hit my children?

i am feeling really bad. this morning before school i got mad with my daughters- 12and 11- over a very small issue (they keep loosing their hair clips and many talks, suggestions, punishments and tellings off later they still forget to return them to the box at the end of the day) and this morning my 12 year old told a small lie about where she had put them and insisted a black one was hers when she had worn purple yesterday, then refused to go and look for it...the refusal made me angry and i started raising my voice and then when she 'mimicked' me, i grabbed hold of her hair and dragged her over to the box (in the kitchen cupboard) to look for the bobbles. She twisted away from me and shouted and i smacked her, around the face and told her to do as she was told. She then dramatically fell to the floor- hitting her own head on a drawer handle- sobbing. I felt really really angry with her and at this point very funny inside- heart beating fast, i was feeling very hot. Then my other daughter- age 11- came in and i asked her if she had brushed her teeth (i had already asked once and reminded her again that morning) and she said yes- then changed her mind to actually no- and with that i gave her a 'back handed' type smack around her head!

I don't NORMALLY behave like this with them, and i am not having a stressful time in general. Usual punishments for my children involve a reduction in pocket money when they fail to do ask they are asked. Arguing between them usually involves removal of the activity or object causing the argument. I do find i often start to shout, but i have really been working on NOT shouting. however I do want to maintain disciplin and i am getting so frustrated because the hair clip issue has been going on for over a year and as they cost quite a lot of money (拢3.50, thats $7 for 6 clips which they seem to loose as soon as they wear them, maybe a week before they are all gone) and they should be respecting their things. They don't usually 'loose' them- they take them out and then forget where they put them. They both have a pot in their bedrooms, and there is a box in the kitchen so they have plenty of places they can leave them and whilst it is a petty thing (its not like they are not doing homework, or swearing at school teachers or stealing!) it is still something that needs sorting. However i feel so guilty for smacking them and wondered if this is truly terible or if other parents find themselves behaving like this? How bad was i to hit my children?
It is my opinion that you were very wrong with what you did, but perhaps for different reasons than you are feeling guilty about.

First of all, you "lost control" over this situation. You not only lost control when you grabbed your daughter by her hair, but also smacked both of your girls, and not to mention, over an issue that is otherwise very small and VERY easy to tend to.

The thing is, you never had to take control over this situation at all. When you purchase item(s) for your children, you teach them respect not only for those items, but for the money you had to put into them, by expecting your girls to keep up with them, and put them back where they belong when they are through. When they don't? They failed on their end...and YOU "bailed them out of their responsibility" by taking more responsibility on yourself and purchasing more. Do you think that you teach your girls responsibility by taking on more of your own, or by abusing them when they don't live up to your standard? Do you think that they learn more about "responsibility" in one moment of your losing control over a situation, than they would if you allowed them to simply suffer the consequences of their own actions?

Why are you buying new clips for them? You know that you set a higher standard for your girls by taking yourself out of the equation once you've filled your end of the responsibility as a parent. Leave it to THEM to find them, and let them suffer the natural consequences of not having them one morning if they haven't put them back where they belong. Your part here should be, "I bought you 10 hair-ties last month, and each of those should last you for about a week. I'm not buying hair ties again until March." Then step back...let them gripe, complain and suffer the natural consequences of not keeping up with their things.

Losing all control over yourself and any situation (as you did) is very dangerous...and it will seriously impact your relationship with them as parent/child. I would go to them and "retake" control over the "parenting" piece of this situation and sit down with your girls to let them know that you are sorry for the way that things happened this morning, AND that you should not have struck them (do not make further excuses about all that you have going on, as this is stuff for parents to deal with).

Then, let them know what is going to happen from this point forward with regards to hair ties. Allow EACH of your girls to choose their own special place to keep their OWN hair-ties (even if you have to buy more to get this started). Let them keep where that place is to themselves, as one is likely bickering over the other taking hair-ties, and that's not fair (and it puts you back into an argument). Tell them that you are not going to purchase new hair ties until (set a date, when their should reasonably worn out or broken). They can just go to school with their hair down if they lose them. Once they are clear on what's going to happen, it is up to YOU to stick to your part, of only doing what you've responsibly agreed to do....leave their responsibility to them.

In addition...the next time you feel like laying your hands on one of your children, leave the room. Tell them that you are done with discussion right now, but that you will talk with them again at ______ (give them a specific time, 30 mins to 2 hours later). This gives you time to calm down, collect your thoughts, and return to the situation as the "in charge" parent that you are, and need to be. This gives you time to determine make more appropriate choices, and it won't land you in court with allegations of child abuse. It is a win-win situation.

    ***Edit***
Please, be careful when listening to people who tell you that you did the right thing here. The truth is, many parents get frustrated (and the mimicking would have put a nail in a coffin for some children, as that is really intolerable and disrespectful)...but that does not change the fact that when a parent strikes a child as you did in such extreme anger, it can lead to horrible consequences. When you get to the point that you were this morning, even from your own description, you have to step back. While everyone can understand your frustration, no one here would want to lose the long term trust and respect of their children by not remaining in control over any situation...nor would they want to land in court fighting for their children. Your state was dangerous...and I've had it myself, many times. With my teen daughter (trust me, worse is to come), I developed an image in my head that strangely calmed me. That image, was of me "flying" across the room (immediately), feet off the ground, and grabbing her by the back of her head (THROUGH her face). Yep...calming technique (and it worked). Find one. Find something. Do not teach your kids to react in anger...it almost always ends in bad, rather than rational decisions.
Good for you. Now learn to temper it and give them a good smack with some self control. How bad was i to hit my children?
its okay they will be okay...small hit doesn't hurt them

i was hitten everyday in my life and im okay
My personal advice would be when you feel like this take yourself away from the situation for 5 minutes(outside or into another room). Then once you are feeling more relaxed and in control of your own emotions decide on a suitable punishment. Suitable punishments for 11 and 12 year olds could be: -verbal discipline, -sent to room for 10 minutes to calm down, -sanction of pocket money, -confiscation of certain toys. However I would advice just to ignore minor misbehavior as this is probably just attention seeking. How bad was i to hit my children?
You aare not wronge at all..... it seems as though your kids dont respect u im not for abusing kids but every child can use a little smack from here and there deffinitly wen there behavior is like that. what i recemend and this is what mi mom does when i constanly lose something shee has to keep buying. she just stops buying it... and if i have money and really want it ican buy it but usually i dont have money to just buy more so i just stop losing them!! which makes everyone happy...... n i dont keep losing things
that is absolutely disgusting!!! you need to go get some help.. it is not normal to hit your children like that!! you are abusive.. my daughter looses her hair clips all the time, they come loose at school and fall out, I dont know where you shop but almost 拢4 for hair clips is expensive, try going to matalan or tesco, asda, sainsburys.. lots of cheap hair stuff in there for around 拢1.50... problem solved, and if a child hasn't brushed their teeth send them to the bathroom to brush them!!! I'm glad you feel guilty!
Well, I don't know much about punishment yet because I have a 7 month-old but you should feel guilty because I don't know why you had to "grab hold of her hair %26amp; drag her to the box" %26amp; "backhanded smack in the back of her head". You couldn't have taken money away? I understand you lost your patience but doing that was not acceptable. Next time find another way to let them know what they did was also not good.

By the way, they are just hair clips. Nothing horrible is going to happen if you lose a hair clip.. Next time, get cheap ones.
Hair clips aren't cheap and no you can't get them for 拢1.50 at Tesco and my nearest Matalan is 15 miles away so add on the cost and time to get there. I don't think it is so much the hair clips that got to you but the very so obvious lack of respect from them that I think is the real problem you say it was a petty thing but reread what you wrote, your 12 year old was mimicking you and your 11 year old was lying those are pretty serious issues, yes you could have handled it better and yes you should feel guilty because you were out of control but you do need to clamp down on their behaviour.
This is the wrong method to parenting. You're sending the message that physical pain is the consequence for misbehavior. This is only acceptable with a slap on the wrist to an infant under 6 months because they cannot yet fathom right from wrong...your children are pre-teen's they obviously know what they are doing. Corporal punishment is not in effect anymore and hasn't been for a very long time so you have no right enforcing it. We all ***** up but you have to learn to control how you act toward's your kid's, otherwise they will grow up resenting you in all honesty, they are all you have. You should value them like you would an expensive vase. You wouldn't go smacking around a precious family heirloom, right? Get your act together, and they will reciprocate.
oh my good god, i hope this is fake! you hit your children over such small things? you clearly are out of control! what are you going to do when they are older and god forbid get a bad grade or come home drunk? beat the shiiiit out of them? you need therapy, anger management classes, and your kids taken away. before it gets worse. if your kids told a teacher child protective services would be involved ASAP.
First, that was out of control and you realize that which is good. Second, they need to be regulary diciplined. Doing alternate punishments like chores(which at that age they should already be doing) or don't by the clips at all and let them suffer. Sentences are good as well. All parents have moments where they just lose control. Its normal and anyone who says they haven't is either lying, or to lax. I have atwo year old (almost three) who just began throwing fits. Yes I fight the urge to give her a spanking after a long loud tantrum. Instead. I make her do timeout or take toys away. And explain why I do what I'm doing. at your childrens ages, they need to learn that actions have reactions. If they lose their clips, they don't have replacements, they should have to work for more of them. And relax. Now you know what you don't want to do. Aviod doing it. Be patient (i know that's hard) and hold your ground.

  • My boyfriend said that he was trying to replace is ex?

My boyfriend of a year told his friend that he was trying to replace is ex.

Well he cheated on his ex and she left him. Now he is with me and at the begining of our relationship well yeah he cheated on me with HER. She didnt know about me. And he told me he was done with her.

They also have a child together who is now 1. She wants nothing to do with him, and I mean NOTHING. He swears he wants nothing to do with her, but he lies and brags to her and when he does see her, he tries to put her down, but you can tell she doesnt care.

She is nice and is actually a great mom, nothing what he says she is. She is in a serious relationship and is done with him, yet he swears she is begging to be with him.

Well we have been going to counseling as I believe that people really can change.

However I overheard the two of them talking and he said he was trying to replace his ex. That he really loved her and that she broke his heart.

I thought he was past her?

Another thing is that he is always nasty to her, he tries his best to make her feel bad, but she ignores him, he lies to her and tells her to stay out of his life, yet he tells her things about his life in an arrogant way.

I also am concerned because he kept harping on their son not being able to spend the holidays with both parents, he said it to her like 20 times. just over and over again.

He then told her after a long argument that they had, I again overheard, he told her that she was his best friend for so long, to which she would gave him no response.

WTF... Should I be worried about this? The cheating I understand that people make mistakes. I want to know about his true feelings to his exMy boyfriend said that he was trying to replace is ex?
If he meant what he said about trying to replace his ex, he probably was still in love with her. He could be being nasty to her as a way to hurt her because he was hurt when she left him, like payback - although he had it coming if he cheated on her! Sorry, this guy sounds like a major douche. If he ever treats you like he is treating his ex - leave, no one deserves that. And cheating can't be passed off as a mistake when he has done it on more than one occasion. If you really want to know how he feels about his ex, confront him about it.. Do you really want to be with someone who is in love with someone else?
Typical girl thinking things will change, If what he is doing is not enough for you to realize he will not change, power to you!My boyfriend said that he was trying to replace is ex?
Honey leave him, any guy who goes out of his way to make a girl feel bad is not worth staying for. It doesn't matter if he's not doing it to you, you're seeing a side of him that frankly if you stay with him, he's eventually going to turn on you. He obviously has problems and is still pinning after his ex, leave him and find someone better, someone that's going to call you "his best friend for so long" you deserve better than him, and he doesn't seem to be willing to give you the emotional strength any good relationship needs. She sounds nice, however she doesn't want him-the father of her child-obviously if she doesn't want him anymore, that should say something about him and the kind of person he is.
I think you need to move on. He seems like he hasn't figured out anything for himself and if he treats the mother of his child like crap, you are probably low on the ladder for him too. I think that it is great that you can be adult and respect the ex and even take her side in the situations. Most people are not mature enough for that. You have your head on straight and you deserve to be with someone that treats you like #1 and not as a replacement. My boyfriend said that he was trying to replace is ex?
He has made his feelings towards his ex clear. The question is, are you ready to open your eyes and truly see it. He is obviously still hung up on her and I wouldn't be surprised if he left you for her if she ever wants him back. He said he's replacing her. What part of that is unclear to you? We always rationalize why we stay in a relationship we shouldn't. "People really can change". True but people have to first WANT to change. For now, with his actions, that's just your rationalization to stay with a man who is still very much in love with his ex. Yes, he's putting her down but he's also bragging to her. It seems to me he's only putting her down because he's frustrated that she doesn't want him. So, what is it YOU want? Do you want to be with a man who wants his ex or do you want to find a man who wants YOU?

Also consider that what he's doing to her he will eventually do to you. It has nothing to do with you, it's his CHARACTER.

And please, don't start blaming yourself for this. This is HIS problem, NOT yours! You are worthy to be #1 to a man and if he can't treat you as you deserve, then you should find a man who will treat you as you do deserve to be treated.
To be honest i wouldn't want to be involved with it. Who knows if his past love is JUST the past. Its very hard to get over the person you loved and also they have a child together which creates a more deeper bond. If you ever gave him the choice of you or her, who do you think he would HONESTLY choose (idk im just saying). But to me i don't think hes over this girl and shes still in his mind and heart. It seems like shes a big deal to him still. And hes prob being nasty to her cause she broke his heart and hes not over it and he couldn't be with her so he shows alot of anger towards her cause he hasn't got what he wants. Also starting fights is a stupid excuse to talk to the person and if that doesn't work for him then try make the child the excuse to get closer (him saying there child should spend time with BOTH of them). I think his true feelings are with his ex with what you have told us. Him saying hes just trying to replace his ex was enough.... Im in love with my boyfriend and if anything were to ever happen and he broke up with me, i don't think i could EVER get over him and we are also having a kid together. But just cause i cant get over him doesn't meen i should stop living and never find anyone else (it would take a long time!) but i would never be over him and if i had the chance i would prob want to be with him again. Remember she broke up with him. Sorry.
he still loves her, and i can understand why she left him, i know you may love him but he Sounds like a douche bag, and i would be leaving him soon to, like come on once a cheater always a cheater! i know that from alot of ex bfs, and i have had only 4 seroiuse realtionships and guys like that either will try to have another baby or keep chasing the exs!
sounds like hes really really trying to get with her desperately . its gonna happen sooner or later , but for the fact that she hates his guts , and wants nothing to do with him . he , ll use the kid to try to be with her .

actually , its a bad sign that he cheated on her with you , coz he wouldnt mind also cheating on you . hes with you for now , but hes heart is clearly else where . as much as he misses and wants her , you think if she ever said yes , hed say no ?

How can I get my life back and be happy again?

Ever since I got with my boyfriend I haven't seen any of my friends or family much infact I'm lucky if I see them twice a week, my boyfriend is quite controlling and clingy but very paranoid and jelous. I feel so trapped and just want my old life back where I seen my friends all time. I arrange to do things with my friends and Michael (my bf) will always have Somethin to say about it, he seems to think if I see my friends im gonna be with other boys and cheat on him etc n we have had BIG rows about it so I cancel my plans and I don't end up seeing my friends so they get mad with me and fall out with me :( I just feel like im losing everythingHow can I get my life back and be happy again?
Too be honest, you are losing everything and i know this cuz i use to be in this same exact position. But what you first got to realize is your the only one who controls what you do, and if your not happy you control that too. Make yourself happy even if it means losing this boyfriend, i know it may be hard but girl after a couple weeks you will be like "why was i even with that guy?" I was with a guy for almost 2 years, couldnt go anywhere do anything unless it was with him or for him. but ofcourse he could do whatever he please and not to mention he was just plain out mean to me but i took it cuz unfortunetly us girls sometimes are weak when it comes to men. But one day i literally was like...im done with this **** and i left him. And a few months later i found someone new who i never thought i could find...and thats what i deserve and what you deserve too. You just got to find the strength to get out of it...it will be hard, i mean really hard and heartbreaking to get out but you got to stay focused on something else or you will drive yourself nuts! Only you have the power over what you do so you need to be happy again and get your life back! Good thing about friends, true friends, they will have your back no matter what you did to them.

Hope this helps! sorry for rambling on lol

When it comes to war, and blaming someone, who do you blame? The citizens or the Leaders?

In most cases The citizens don't even have a say in the actions of their leaders right? Some citizens of a country can't stop their leaders from doing something stupid right like starting a war, I don't necessarily blame Citizens unless they had an actual helped with it. Do you know what I mean?

I don't know much about the war between Japan and China but can you actually sit and blame every single individual citizen in Japan for the invasion of China? hmmmm? Shouldn't you blame the leaders for starting the whole thing? hmm

I'm definitely going to look into more of the history between Japan, China, and also Korea too. When it comes to war, and blaming someone, who do you blame? The citizens or the Leaders?
The citizens of a representative democracy had their say when they elected their representatives. In the U.S. that would be the Senators and Congressmen as well as the President.
Many try to blame GWB for the conflicts in Iraq an Afghanistan yet fail to remember that THEIR elected officials voted almost unanimously for the use of force.
How many that disagreed with the use of force went out and voted for the same representative in the next elections? When it comes to war, and blaming someone, who do you blame? The citizens or the Leaders?
Generally you blame the leaders. If, as we did in 2004, the citizens have an opportunity to remove the leader but choose not to, then blame the citizens too. When it comes to war, and blaming someone, who do you blame? The citizens or the Leaders?
you blame the leader, like GWB his war was stupid.. Catching Sadam and Massive Amounts of bogus WMDs

    Is this bipolar disorder?

Personality 1 :positive, competitive, certain of your choices/opinions, good memory, much of a doer, doesn't care about what others say, feeling self-contained no matter what, only think about what you have to do -no past, no future.

Personality2: think a lot of other people actions than yours and drifts, think too much about unrealistic expectations or unreal negative events, feel you're good enough to do things but others block your way, scared that others want to harm or debunk you, feel alone, often need to sleep, sometimes feel like time passes too fast and others too slow.Is this bipolar disorder?
It can be but sometimes (I feel the same as you) I just think it has something to do with boredom, that you over-think things.

I am sorry you feel that way.

Hope you'll stick to the first personalityIs this bipolar disorder?
This doesn't sound like bipolar to me. Bipolar is severe mood swings between mania and depression. People with full blown mania frequently have unrealistic expectations or goals, but they also can come up with big ideas for the future and what they'll accomplish. In my experience of mania, I never felt like any of my expectations were unreasonable, and I never felt like any obstacle could block my path. In fact, I felt that any problem or obstacle could be overcome, and fairly easily. When I was depressed, I was just flat out depressed. I couldn't care less what anybody else thought, because I wasn't even interested in getting out of bed, taking a shower, or changing clothes. I didn't worry about people harming me. I worried about me harming myself.

  • Why do Americans always discredit Nazism?

Adolf Hitler and the NSDAP(Nazi Party) won the election of 1932 with 37.7% of the vote.

Hitler built roads, schools, dams, bridges, railroads, parks and other public works.

He built the Autobahn network which was one of the worlds first highway systems.

Hitler took unemployment from 6 million in 1932 down to less than 1 million in 1936.

Hitler reorganized and rearmed the German military.

He built one of the greatest war machines ever in just 6 years(1933-39).

Nazi Germany conquered Poland, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Yugoslavia and Greece in less than 2 years.

The Nazi Empire extended from the deserts of North Africa to the steppe of Russia.

In 1941 Nazi Germany destroyed the Soviet Union.

800,000 Soviet troops were killed and 3.3 million were captured.

25,000 Soviet tanks and 20,000 aircraft were destroyed.

This all happened in just 6 months(June-December 1941).

If America worked with Nazi Germany the USSR could have been finished off in 1942.

Hitler tried to make an alliance with Britain and America several times but he was ignored.

The Nazis were great people who did great things.

They tried to protect the legitimate governments of Europe from the Slavic scum but they were stabbed in the back. Why do Americans always discredit Nazism?
Aside from the fact that the Nazi state was based on enslaving "untermensch", the attempted extermination of two ethno-religious groups, the systematic murder of the handicapped, the slaughter of innocents across Europe, the destruction of civil liberties, the wholesale art thefts the destruction of German sophistication and culture and the destruction that they visited everywhere they went not including the foul policies of Hitler - yeah, they were great.

Did you not notice WHICH flag flew over the Reichstag in May 1945, was it the Nazi flag? no. Was it the American flag? No. Was it the British flag? No.

It was the Soviet flag - the USSR destroyed Nazi Germany.

Now, kindly, learn some history and go eff yourself
Most of the world probably wouldn't have a big problem with Nazi Germany if there hadn't been, you know, the racial policy and the genocide of the Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals and handicapped people !

If Hitler hadn't been such a genocidal maniac he would probably be remembered a little like Napoleon, though that would still be an insult to Napoleon. Why do Americans always discredit Nazism?
Lol any country can eliminate unemployment. Just draft everyone into the military and boom, unemployment is gone.

Building a war machine is also pretty easy, if you focus your country entirley on building up a military, it can easily be done.
Choosing between the nazis and the commies was like having to choose between plague and cholera. Yes, the Norwegians, Danish and Poles were not fond of the Bolsheviks, but they strongly detested having their land stolen from them by the nazis too.Why do Americans always discredit Nazism?
He also gassed 6 million jews and ordered unspeakable medical experiments on innocent children. That kind of destruction of humanity doesnt justify a damn thing else he did.
We can show you how the ovens work. take a ride on the wild side. I promise it won't hurt.

    PG

    Childish
They were responsible for the murder of at least 10,000,000 innocent women and children with no regret so I'm guessing you must be either kidding or out of your mind, which is it?
You left out the whole genocide/mass killings thing. But no biggie.
    Don't forget these:

    鈥?Outlawed tobacco use.

鈥?Got Germany out of financial woes.

鈥?Outlawed vivisection (The dissection of, or otherwise experimenting on, a living animal, esp for the purpose of ascertaining or demonstrating some fact in physiology or pathology.)

鈥?Commissioned Ferdinand Porsche to come up with an economical, low maintenance auto for the common German. That car was the "Volkswagon" ("People's Car") - the VW Beetle.

鈥?Established the Autobahn interstate highway system (which is STILL the best in the world) and all other countries copied his inveltion.

鈥?He actually fought in WWI and was awarded the Iron Cross First Class for his actions.

鈥?Created a fleet of cruise ships for the exclusive use of blue-collar workers.

鈥?Created a 'cable network' for radios. (this was really the first Internet!)

鈥?Under his direction, they were the predecessors of modern aircraft.

鈥?By testing students to see what their strong subjects were such as math, science, or writing, he would be able to direct these students towards success in their given fields. Also not having them waste their time on subjects of no interest to their future.

鈥?Prior to the war's outbreak, he had orchestrated a thriving forestry program of 869,300 employed by the forestry service under the third Reich.

鈥?Brought honour back for Germany. (The Versailles treaty and other restrictions on armament and economical aspects brought Germany back to the Dark Ages)

鈥?Exposed the Jews [monopoly tenancies] and gave them a run for their money. Jews were hoarding the money, and they were forming many monopolies, and only doing business only with other Jews.

鈥?Gave Europa a huge cultural boost by supporting art and true European values, instead of the upcoming jewish/capitalistic culture.

鈥?Research into the health effects of radiation, asbestos, heavy metals, alcohol and tobacco

鈥?Mandated the production of organic foods and encouraged vegetarianism and natural healing

鈥?Pursued alternative energy instead of oil or nuclear energy, regarded by the Nazis as "Jewish physics". Hitler only began nuclear research "grudgingly" in response to American efforts.
Apparently they are completely unaware of the connections between Nazism and Zionism. Connections both financial and ethnic. Americans are nazis under a different name
All Democrats quite literally demand it.
They sound too much like Libertarians.
Because that is what the Kenyan is.

No, if you live near a beach - go build sandcastles. If you live near a farm - go walk round it. If you live in a city - go check out a museum.

What are the really touristy things to do where you live and have you ever done them? My friend lived in Edinburgh all her life but never once went on an underground tour until I took her! I know a guy who lives in New York but has never been to the Empire State or Statue of Liberty.

Or go find a field and just **** like happy little spring bunnies.Things to do when your bored?
