What's the best way to spend money when you're struggling other than using a credit card?

My buddy and his wife are really struggling financially so they put everything on credit card now and want to pay it back when they get the money. That can't be a very good idea can it? I tried to talk to him about but I really didn't know what would be a better option than putting everything on credit card. I was thinking maybe he could get a loan or something but what would be the best thing to do in his situation?What's the best way to spend money when you're struggling other than using a credit card?

They need to learn how to discipline themselves so they don't spend recklessly. If they don't have money to pay for things now, it will only get worse when the bills start coming in. When they pay the minimum, but keep charging, it's a deep financial mess they will not easily get out of.



There is very little you can do to help them understand what a mistake this is. They will continue to do what they want, too bad isn't it?
