I have been there twice and I would say the answer to your question is no!! The first time there we went on a tour of the island and about the best part of that tour was the beach scenery and a visit to the Curacao liquor factory for samples. We also visited a museum and watched the pontoon bridge in town open and close.
The second time there we just walked/browsed around town and then went gto the casino for a little bit. Next time we'll get to the beach as the only thing we do there.
Just go to the beach and if you have time browse around town. Are there any "Must do or see" things when I go to Curacao?
Are you SERIOUS?.. you are actually going to Curacao for a holiday and with your girlfriend, at that... what did she do to make you hate her that much?
Bragging about going to Curacao is like bragging that you are going to TEXAS CITY or BROWNSVILLE for a holiday. Do you not know that Curacao is an OIL INDUSTRY ISLAND and the whole southern end of the island, plus the offshore waters, are devoted to OIL RIGS.
Have you ever been to South Padre Island... have you not noticed how filthy the water is off South Padre Island and suddenly realized it's due to the offshore OIL RIGS?.. well.. those waters are positively clean compared to Curacao.
