I am a new reptile owner so before I buy I snake I need to know some things, like
1:do albino ball pythons have a different temperament than the average ball python
2:how expensive are ball pythons and how much is vet care
3:is a garter or a ball python a better first snake
thanks!Do different ball python morphs have different temperaments?
no, the different colors don't affect the snakes temperament at alllll. snakes are like people, every single one has their own personality, that's the only thing that affects their temperament. normal ball pythons are not expensive at all, at albinonile.com i got my normal ball python for $25 and he's in perfect shape and he's really healthy. the morphs are a little more expensive, if you take a look at reptmart.com they have a lot of really nice ball python morphs.. vet care isn't expensive either, so basically snakes are great pets and they barely cost you anything. and in my opinion, a ball python is a GREAT first time snake, mines is my first snake and i love him already %26lt;3Do different ball python morphs have different temperaments?
1: snakes dont have different temperments cause of the color, only the way they where treated depending on how old you get it at
2: A normal ball python could run you anywhere from 30 to 150 dollars and different colors like albinos are 500+, i suggest gerrick demeyer at royalconstrictordesigns.com, he has a lot of good snakesfor a pretty good price. And vet care isnt very expensive
3: I would say a ball only because its less flighty than a garter and its easier to handle.Do different ball python morphs have different temperaments?
first ball pythons need a hot spot 90 to 100 degrees and a cool spot 75 to 85 degrees
the price depends where you buy it i bought mine at pet smart for 80.00$ the vet bills will very depending what is wrong. if you think you will not have to go to the vet don't get a snake.
neither are a good starter snake if i were you i would start with a corn, milk, or king
corn:50$
king:80$
milk100$
hoped this helped
joey and madison are both wrong.
joey normal ball python babies are no where near $100, an adult female may cost ya 100-150 but not a baby.. and albinos are not $500 anymore either.
madison 100F is way to hot for a ball python, 88-90F is the basking temps that balls should have.
