How do i tell my friend that i don't have to do this to get in?????? please help?!?!?!?!?

I have this friend that really wants me to do this Rainer scholars thing. its a thing that gives you a scholar ship to assure that you go to college but its a lot of work and time. apparently her mom told her that if people don't do this they don't go to college which i know is bull $hit.



Her family is poor and mine is more fortunate. She wants me to do it because she thinks that we don't have enough money, little does she know that my grandfather gave us $200,000 for me and my 2 brothers to share for college. Plus im in spectrum and have been for the last 6 years.



I really don't want to do rainier scholars because it would actually be a waste of my time... but i don't want her to feel bad that she has to go because they cant afford it.'

Just be honest and explain to her that your grandfather had set up college funds for all the kids in your family, if she's a true friend she'll be happy for you.
