OK so I have a crush on my best friend and when I was about to make my move this chump comes in and steals my thunder. aka she becomes his gf. The thing is though this a long distance relationship. This chump is in the military so he is not in a lot.



The only thing I have told this girl is that I liked her but that was like 2 days after she got this bf. I have not really told her completely what I feel about her. It is all good stuff.



So what can I do to get her to drift away from this joke and come towards me?



(ps I don't call her bf that in front of her. I am very kind towards her. But I am just pissed this idiot stole my thunder.)



I forgot to add that I hoping he does something that ends the relationship and I can be there to heal her wounds. (I know that sounds like a mean thing to do but I see no other way).



Also I believe before they went out she referred to him as a disgusting creep (Actually I am guessing this since she told me it was someone she knows from the military who liked her)How to get my best friend to go out with me who has a bf?

You've missed your chance buddy. You have no right to call this guy a 'joke' as he had the balls to make a move before you did. Plus your best friends..why risk a great friendship on a shot at love with her, girls are odd when it comes to dating a close friend, as they feel so comfortable with them, that they dont want to let go of a friendship, and think that they dont need to take it to the next step, as they already have you in their life where they want you.



He is in the military though, so maybe this long distance wont work, as they are always quite difficult things to work.
