Why would Allah have to bribe his followers by promising them loot?

"Allah promiseth you much booty that ye will capture, and hath given you this in advance, and hath withheld men's hands from you, that it may be a token for the believers, and that He may guide you on a right path." - Qur'an 48:20

"And know that whatever ye take as spoils of war, lo! a fifth thereof is for Allah, and for the messenger and for the kinsman (who hath need) and orphans and the needy and the wayfarer, if ye believe in Allah and that which We revealed unto Our slave on the Day of Discrimination, the day when the two armies met. And Allah is Able to do all things." - Qur'an 8:41Why would Allah have to bribe his followers by promising them loot?
BECAUSE THEY KNEW HE WAS A LIAR
Haha your avatar looks like a penis and hairy ballsack. That makes me laugh. Why would Allah have to bribe his followers by promising them loot?
Did you really read the Koran or did you copy this from somewhere else?

Not that you ought to read it. In fact you can just chuck it and go on with life if you like.

There is no sense in arguing over the Koran: It is based on ad hoc religious propaganda attributed to a psychopath who died 1400 years ago. In the real world there are vexing problems facing our species. Warping the human mind with religion not only will not help, but actually is one of the problems. People are willing to exterminate other human beings based on religious propaganda.
In all fairness, Allah, most probably, wouldn't have said almost all the things that Mohammad recited to his gullible credulous delusional followers.

Would Allah really have gone and supplied all those women to Mohammad bin Abdullah al Muttailib al Hashim al Quraish, as you see Allah doing in the Qur'an? Would Allah really have even offered to "procure better women" for Mohammad? [Refer Surat at Tahrim, Azhab etc etc]

Would Allah have have made the mistake of calling Mary the "Sister of Aaron"?

Would Allah have contradicted Himself in so many places in the Qur'an? And gone and tried to justify that with abrogating the earlier statements?

Of course not!

Allah could never have been Mohammad's personal Pimp, like Mohammad tried to make Him into being. Allah could never have lied and made all those mistakes that Mohammad made while he was pretending to be Allah who was speaking through his [Mohammad's] lips.

Mohammad was a lying blasphemer and those who follow him are blasphemers as well.

.Why would Allah have to bribe his followers by promising them loot?
The question originated from India where all the benefits of war

are reserved for two races, the Brahimans and Khatris who share

the war booty, if they ever dare to wage a war. So the asker is

surprised that Allah is promising war booty to every participant.

He forgot that those being promised are far less in numbers and

in arms and yet they defeated their powerful enemies. So the

promise worked. Call it a bribe or reward but victory remains

victory and so Muhamamd Ghauri defeated pirthivi raj the famous

indian king known for bravery.

Muhammad Javed Iqbal
"Allah has promised you much booty that you will take [in the future] and has hastened for you this [victory] and withheld the hands of people from you - that it may be a sign for the believers and [that] He may guide you to a straight path" (Quran: 48:20).
*If you read this verse well enough, you'll quickly notice it speaking of victoring Muslims against their enemies. Yes. Because Islam had many enemies, and wars were being waged against Muslims by the Polytheists. Thus, Allah victored Muslims, in order to guide them to the straight path, and if you study about the first war waged against Muslims, for example, you'll see that it was 3000 polytheists against 375 Muslims...thus, victory was, doubtless, miraculous.

"And know that anything you obtain of war booty - then indeed, for Allah is one fifth of it and for the Messenger and for [his] near relatives and the orphans, the needy, and the [stranded] traveler, if you have believed in Allah and in that which We sent down to Our worshiper on the day of criterion - the day when the two armies met. And Allah , over all things, is competent" (Quran: 8:41).
It's commanding Muslims that when they won these wars, they're obligated to spend 20% of it on the orphans and the needy...Is that bribery, or is that looking after the interest of all...Most especially the weak/needy? If you really think about it, Islam is the first religion to establish social welfare for the elder, disabled and the orphans....Personally, I think that's commendable.

Edit: To the answer above: I truly feel sorry for you. If you read the Quran, you would see that Muslims are considered brothers and sisters. Holy Maryam was the daughter Al-Imran, and if you trace the trend a little bit, you'd quickly realize that Maryam was from the same ansastry as Prophet Aaron, the brother of Prophet Moses, peace be upon them all. Thus, Holy Maryam was the sister of the Prophets, being one of the descendents of the Prophets. May Allah forgive you, truly.
To propagate Islam.Bribe was the only means to spread islam.
Because of limited seats in heaven.
In the name of Allah, the most beneficent, the most merciful.

You should read whole Quran then you vll be understand meaning of that.

So whoever does righteous deeds while he is a believer - no denial will there be for his effort, and indeed We, of it, are recorders. ( Quran 21:94 )

Indeed, Allah will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow. Indeed, Allah does what He intends. ( Quran 22:14 )

And of the people is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge or guidance or an enlightening book [from Him], ( Quran 22:8 )
Are you sure, all these from Allah, not from satan?
Why you all do this and for whom. Can't you read how many answer which is senseless because of yours question. The word which you use is very far from the fact. In the same concern i will want to point one more think is that in Surah Bakra Allah (SWT) says this is book guideness for the mutakin and the true believer. And in other he also say who had reject his version on own by means by understanding he had seal their heart. So one of the reason you don't understand this. Other wise you might think the depenthness of this version and understood. And if you have really such question in yours mind then try to seek the answer from the right person then you post such thing on yahoo or any other such side.
