I am very worried and Dont know what to do. I need advice.?

I get these horrible migraines. First I either go blind in my left or my right eye and i see this wierd like outline in whichever eye it is. Than i get a TERRIBLE migraine. I have gotten MRI's and everything on my head and i have went to the eye docture about it. But no one has been able to do anything to help me except put me on a preventative migraine medicine that didnt stop them and give me meds to relieve the migraine pain, which i have tried multiple times and still, i have had no help.

Yesterday, my mom told me that I am actually having mini strokes..and every time i get them, it causes me to go more and more brain dead everytime. My friend went to a brain surgent for her migrains (but she doesnt get the same ones as me, but she asked about it) and he told her the same thing..I have no clue what the heck to do about this. Because it is really worrieing me...I am very worried and Dont know what to do. I need advice.?
The visual effects from your migraines are brain effects, not eye effects. So talking to an eye doctor is unlikely to be useful.



Why is your mom trying to diagnose you? The doctors haven't been able to help (which is not unusual for migraines), so why does she think she knows better?I am very worried and Dont know what to do. I need advice.?

My brother had a similar issue that he got migraines, and he went a little blind in his eye and went a little blind.



You just have migraines that cause this, you need pain killers get rid of the pain.

this is pretty much the standard description of a "classic migraine". it is probably not "mini strokes" that are making you "more brain dead". sorry, mom.
