Spiritually speaking, how do you get motivated to clean the house?

I don't mean your normal, run-of-the-mill cleaning. I mean the crazed mania type cleaning. What spiritual steps can I take to induce mania?

CLEAN ALL THE THINGS!!!!!Spiritually speaking, how do you get motivated to clean the house?
I have to put a book on my iPod. Otherwise I can't tolerate it lol.
GO SHINE YOUR SINK.

If a window in a neighborhood gets broken, and it's not fixed, the whole neighborhood goes to pieces.

Your kitchen sink is the window. Always keep it clean (wipe it dry EVERY time you use it). The counters will follow naturally. Your kitchen will stay spotless without effort. The rest of the house will magically follow.

Get dressed and put your shoes on. Devote ONLY 15 minutes to ANY task then move to another. Every 45 minutes take a fifteen minute break.

If cleaning out closets, make three boxes with 'Throw it away', 'Put it away', and 'Give it away' on them.

The simpler your life is the more you will enjoy it.Spiritually speaking, how do you get motivated to clean the house?
Proverbs.13:4 "The lazy one is showing himself desirous, but his soul has nothing. However, the very soul of the diligent ones will be made fat."

In the bible being made "fat" is healthy or a good thing.

God is a cleanly god, cleanliness is close to godliness, and holiness.
There is only one true way to guarantee a thorough "crazed mania type cleaning" and that is:

Invite people to your house; you'll have no choice but to make it spotless.

You don't want them thinking you're a slob.

I dunno, I have a housekeeper.

The only time I'm motivated to clean the house is the hour before she arrives.

Sometimes I make such mess of the place I'm embarrassed to let her see it like that.

Just remember--where rats, possums, and raccoons take up residence, fundies will soon follow.

Trailer park trash tends to flock to where the huntin' is good.

That should give you all the motivation you need.

Knowing that the in-laws are coming...that's the only time the top of the door-sills get dusted.
i have the same problem! But I am merely a man ..so I decided to ask my girlfriend that same question. Yeh.....she just gave me a dirty look !!
Cleanliness is next to godliness.
Hire it done by amateurs.
I divide i and do one room/day - and drink light white wine - it gives me the right mood :))
I don't. This place is a mess!
